Jazz Funeral & Celebration of Life
Please join us for a New Orleans-style Jazz Funeral & Celebration of Life to honor Lauren and Holiday on August 14th, 2021 at Greenwood Park, Rose Garden, 4800 Grand Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa.
Procession and Service will start at 4:15 PM, followed immediately by a reception. All events will be held at the Rose Garden. Check back for more day-of celebration details.
Moment of Remembrance
On behalf of Lauren’s family, we wanted an opportunity for you to spend some socially distant time with her family, who will be gathering together on Saturday, August 15th. If you would like to greet Lauren’s immediate family and have a moment of remembrance with her ashes, you may sign-up here.
Lauren’s Birthday
As you know, our dear Lauren’s birthday is next Thursday, August 13th. We ask that you celebrate her on that day by doing something special for yourself or your community, which is the best way to honor her memory. We know there will be folks dancing, riding, sailing, reading, and spending time with beloved pets in her honor. We ask that those willing to share photographs of their celebrations direct them to the Photo Album at LaurenRiceHolidayMemorial.com for use in a future memorial tribute.
